Yeah, I know. The good news is we're still here... > Not reflecting on your situation but i never understood the "we want > it and we want it now" attitude. I don't really understand it either, but in our case we got slammed by a series of events that happened at the same time. Here in the U.S., there's not a very big safety net. All you need is a major health event and a few months of being unable to work and you're toast. Other countries seem to understand that "sh*t happens" more than we do, and they have better safety nets.
