John, Check your Format and Inputmask properties are correct or default as nothing.
Other than that have you cot a baseclass that is taking charge? What happens when you click on the date part? The control source is a property on the form which was initialised to {} when the property was created. When the form is displayed the textbox is empty but with the date slashes, exactly as I would expect. I can tab into the box with no problem and enter a date but it won't allow me to click into the day portion. I can click into the month or year then move into the day portion with arrow keys but can't click in the day. (Date is set to BRITISH).
