Okay... I have Nero 7 Ultra installed. During the installation, I specified that I was not interested in the Nero Mobile software and chose to not install it. Cool ... wait, not cool... Even though it doesn't show up in the Program list, or in the actual Program Folder, I'm good for at least one or two Nero Mobile pop-ups a month when I transfer images or music on or off my WM6 phone. Software installations that don't take 'no' for an answer qualify as intrusive in my book.
That being said,, in terms of functionality and reliability the Nero Burning ROM program *is* great! I've used it for years and, by itself, is worth whatever they charge for it. If you can get the Burning ROM all by itself, I'd say buy it. But the "Bundle"? If version 8 has remembered its' manners, than okay. Otherwise, no thanks. I found it the best way of dealing with writes although it does come with a load of stuff not required. But thats a sign of the times when people want so much for nothing isnt it. Intrusive though. Please explain.
