That ammo they used before on Bill didn't manage to shoot him down. My mother has the same complaint about Hillary that others have -- that she did not divorce Bill when he cheated on her. Frankly, I think she did a good thing by putting her marriage and family ahead of her own hurt feelings. Hillary is a strong woman and a strong candidate. Obama's folks started whining hard in South Carolina about a few minor things Bill thoughtlessly said. Do we think the republicans won't pull out the stops and run a nasty race-baiting campaign? If Hillary is nominated she'll get a misogynist campaign thrown at her. Many people don't want a woman in the white house. I don't know if race or gender is a worse fireball to get thrown at you in a campaign. What I have seen so far, though, is that the Obama folks don't really have thick enough skins about race issues. Right now, any of the leading candidates on either side would be a big improvement over the current administration. If Obama were to win, I would of course support him. I just think that if we want a democrat in the white house, that the person with the best ability to take the heat that the republicans will generate is Hillary.
