To the best of my knowledge, Mega insurance does not sell in New York. I
don't know about the others. I do know (at least in California) that after
you are finished with COBRA that insurance carriers are required to offer
you a HIPAA plan if you apply within 62 days of the expiration of your COBRA
coverage. You should check with an insurance agent in your area to see what
the rules are in NY so you can be ready when COBRA runs out.
