Bill Richardson was too cavalier about withdrawing troops without a solid plan for doing so. Romney just didn't prove he had a minimum level of credibility. Romney struck me and a lot of others as maximally insincere. I like McCain as the choice for the other side. He is at least more practical than Bush. Even though we have a lot of disagreements I do not see him crafting an additional 5 trillion dollars of debt or an idiotic policy in Iraq. He would not pull out of Iraq, but if we are going to be stuck there I'd at least like to make an impact. I am happiest with a slate of candidates that have a proven ability to do the job -- even if I don't completely agree with their plan of action.
