Yeah, at least John McCain would nominated Supreme Court Justices that 
would "interpret the constitution; not make law", which is the 
Conservative Republican spin or litmus test for a Justice, while the 
Bush administration was determined to pack the courts, including the 
Supreme Court, with Theologians that would uphold the Bible and 10 
commandment, rather than the US Constitution.  Also, the Bush 
Administration offered up at least one crony as a nomination to the 
Supreme Court, (eg Harriot Myers), but she was rapidly withdrawn when 
even Bush's evangelicals base became enraged at this inappropriate 
selection.  LOL

Yeah, McCain would be a big improvement in the area of nomination of 
Justices to the Appellate and Supreme court, but either Hillary Clinton 
or Obama would do much better in their nominations to the Supreme Court.
