While I agree with your ideas, I have to say the UK is not keeping to those. HSBC bank for example has a call center that I have problems understanding. And I can understand Texans !!! well nearly. As for the Scots. I like the accent and find it pleasant especialy on females. West country is harder to understand. To my mind even worse than Indian call centres is the use of premium rate numbers for support. That I really hate. Acer for one in the uk which is why the acer laptop I have is my first and last. Apart from shoddy support as well that is. Way back I think in the 60's there was a real buy British. Now its lip service and really the meaning of life is buy cheapest. Allen
