Whoops and being married to a teacher I see these ar**holes every month trying to explain why their child should be excused punishment and it's always a bleeding heart who can't understand why their child chose to graffiti a wall, destroy equipment, smoke in a chemistry lab and would never say "well s/he has done wrong, it's a fair cop punish them fairly"

What, on the basis that it's a teachers fault for not protecting him from breaking the rules. Silly parents should read the rules when they signed him up and teach the stupid brat what they mean and the implications. If the rules are clear then it's his fault if not then the school had better apologise and tighten their rules up. Typical, parents nowadays abdicating all responsibility for instilling a sense of right and wrong. You join up to an organisation you obey their rules or you leave. Having a (marginally) learning impaired child I still take time to explain right and wrong and take time to work at it with him, maybe these trash should do the same with their so called intelligent children who can be VP but not understand the law! </rant> -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Michael Madigan Sent: 12 March 2008 18:10 To: ProFox Email List Subject: Re: [OT] Student suspended for buying candy in a school.
