There are a couple choices, but given your experience level and the need
to get it running quickly, your best option IMO is to install a virtual
machine on the Mac and then install Windows XP on the virtual machine,
and run your VFP app on Windows XP like normal.

I hear WINE[1] runs VFP9 apps out of the box now, and if you have a
newer (Intel) Mac, WINE runs on Mac natively. But you are still going to
need to spend a significant amount of time testing and tweaking.

The customer will need to purchase a full copy of Windows XP, plus
perhaps the Virtual Machine. Parallels[2] Desktop would probably edge
out VMWare[3] at this point, but there are definitely some annoying
things about Parallels.
