That sounds like a driver issue with the video card, or the video card is heating up and dying. I run VFP 9 SP 1 all day on my Areo enabled Vista. With a few tweaks in the code, most of the video problems are gone. Dockable windows is the only thing I've not found a correction for. I don't think I will either.
