You're missing the whole point or trying to make something else here.  If
an immigrant comes and makes his home here, great.  That means he's
contributing to the infrastructure, (hopefully) paying his fair share of
taxes etc to keep our internal economy and systems running.  If a worker
comes here and just takes wages but doesn't contribute, that's no good,
and even worse (or just as worse) is the job that isn't kept here but goes
outside of our borders, robbing our econony/infrastructure of the tax
revenues on that income.

 It's not hard to understand (although I'm sure someone else could explain
it better than me!).
