Would you pay for them if they existed from the vendor's private
collection?

Our company is working with a few large sized open source companies now to
see if they want to get into our marketplace arena where they publish their
docs from our site, and they get a monthly or quarterly check back for each
one that someone orders.  These would only be PRINTED docs and not the pdf
files provided by the company.
