In that case, then I can see where it will fit into the NF title.

Personally, I don't like to get involved in the Global Warming Issue, so as long
as this does not sway towards Global Warming, or the OT area, and stays dealing
with the Technical and Scientific aspect of whether it is possible for the sea
to rise that much, then I am fine with it.

As far as the original question goes, the rise of the sea level can be
contributed to the increase in life forms, both human and animals, that while
they are trying to keep alive they are producing as a side effect the chemicals
needed to increase the temperature of the planet causing the ice glaciers to
melt due to the fact that they are not as cold as what they were when there were
less beings living. To put it into an equation:

More people = more heat = more chemicals released that cause the earth to heat
up = more liquid = rise in sea level

The report stated that the sea level only changed a little bit, and was mostly
stable.

We have reached and exceeded the point where the earth is able to dissipate the
heat generated by living humans and animals, thus causing the Earth to heat up.

By the way, this is NOT Global Warming, this is the effect of humans and animals
living on a planet.

It is a straight up science question. It may be in the arena of Global
Wackos but the nature of the posting was in a pure scientific discussion.

Do you think that there is significant enough ice mass to effect a raise in
sea level?
