I used to have a program called reboot.exe that I would put on workstations and 
time to go off just before I needed exclusive use.  This was just on 
workstations left on.  I don't know if it works with newer versions of Windows 
or if you have access to workstations to do this or if users have their own 
processes running at night that you would screw up with this.  It's crude, but 
it did the job for me back in the day.

Also, it was great to put in autoexec for annoying clients.  ;-)
