Funny - I have never had many problems with Windows updates, and I don't hear much complaining from any customers either. I must be l33t. I would say on average I have had as many things broken by Windows updates as by the equivalent on Ubuntu. Maybe I'm using the wrong distro.
Most developers who create desktop applications for small to medium enterprises don't consider Linux, because their customers don't. Their customers don't because the applications they need aren't available on Linux. I'm talking small to mid-range accounts and payroll applications, and not for the US market either. So it's a vicious circle obviously. -- Alan Bourke [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
