Wow it's crazy out there. So I've been working on a 3-month contract and it ended April 25th. So they asked me if I would work on a monthly contract and I agreed. So yesterday when I got back from The Derby, there was no contract waiting for me.
So I sent them an email asking what the story was and they sent me a letter saying to continue working and billing and that a contract would be Fedexed today. So I sent back an email that I would wait for the contract to do any more work, which seems reasonable to me. Who works without a contract? So now they just sent me an email saying that they changed their mind, implying that I was being difficult, and they said there won't be a contract coming after all.
