Sorry, I fired off the previous eMail just a tad early. If you follow my configuration guidelines the performance hit with SAV will be greatly minimized. Basic rule of thumb, scan no network drive files, and omit any database related files. Easy to do and to distribute to client PCs if you use the Symantec Control Console on a PC/Server that manages the client PCs. My recommended setups in the documentation will help you get the best performance with excellent protection.
