Well, FoxPro started it! <g>... I am a product of my past environment, not my fault if I turned out bad and rotten. My personality can not be altered without some serious intervention. It is society's fault for allowing VFP to allow non-standard SQL syntax. If 70 was that bad M$ should have killed it off long ago <g>... Your point is well taken, and I do not disagree. For my current purposes I have little incentive to move toward a more traditional coding approach with all things SQL. But, as I take my migration into PostgreSQL into my commercial offerings with impending updates I will need to make a tough decision re: rewriting my SQL-SELECT statements. Shame VFP allowed for such non-standard SQL statement syntax in the past, but we did get the job done!
