I don't believe I saw The China Syndrome, but I'm sure I have seen other 
similar movies.  Below is a excerpt from the link about TMI.  Since the 
TMI incident occurred only weeks after The China Syndrome movie was 
released, I'm sure it got everyones attention, especially those close to 
TMI.  The excerpt below is obviously an over statement for facilities 
like those on TMI:
