What about MSSQL express which is free. I must say its not easy to work with
though.

Ok, I see MySQL has gotten somewhat unclear in its licensing agreement.
Looks like the choice should be between PostgreSQL & Firebird. I'm looking
for a backend w/o licensing restrictions that I can use from VFP and .net.
The 2g limit in VFP is chafing my current project. Linux hosted langs won't
figure into my scheme of things for some time yet.
