Let me tell you the rest of the story.

In the beginning some very wise muslim people (and a lot of them are good
people) saw that if they got a position as a recruiter, then they would be
in a position to help steer the projects that their clients came to them for
help with to their fellow country men because we americans were too
expensive and my cousin can do it for a tenth of what they can...

That was the beginning of outsourcing as we know it. 

Mine too is an observation.
I have worked with some very good people from india over the years, and they
too would tell you the same thing.

No, it wasn't prejudice; it was just an observation.
