Paris had real riots with plenty of burning and looting. Detroit hasn't known that kind of thing in 40 years. I don't have first hand knowledge of Detroit. But from what I've read about Dearborn everything sounds well integrated to say the least, they are making car parts, pumping gas, going to school and trying to make ends meet just like everyone else.
