Really though both candidates are vacuous duds in the "intellectual honesty"
and "intelligence" departments. I base my lukewarm support of McCain on 3
things:

1. Obama has zero experience that would prepare him for the office---McCain
has at least some. I can't think of any measure by which Obama has more
relevant experience than McCain, anyway.

2. I cannot fathom an Obama-Pelosi-Reid triumvirate in Washington. Might as
well stick a giant loaded gun to our nation's head and pull the trigger.
Grid lock is good. Didn't giving Republicans a free reign and a blank check
teach anybody anything?

3. Obama's connections to radical far-left ideology, 100% liberal rating and
ties to the corrupt Daley machine are more dangerous than McCain's
disgusting opportunism and tendency to back-stab his "conservative friends".

All in all, not a terribly inspiring justification, I admit. But that's what
we have this year. Two morons, one of whom hates his country the way it is
and can't wait to unmake it in His Glorious Image, and the other of whom
loves his image as "maverick" more than his country, and just wants to be
President before he kicks the bucket.

Blech.
