I enjoyed the introductory speech introducing Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska as McCain's VP pick. I think the pick puts him back in the race as a contender after all the drama in the Democratic Convention, which just ended yesterday. Gov. Palin came off as a very poised individual, comfortable in her own skin, and very down to earth. I liked her on this first intro. I'm impressed by McCain's choice.
