I downloaded the PortableApps version (www.portableapps.com) and installed it onto a flash drive. It seems to work fine, I don't mind the slightly different user interface, and being as I never had FF2 on the flash drive, I don't have any add-ons on that drive to worry about. It seems to run fine. That being said, I don't see anything on it that makes me all warm and excited and wanting to upgrade to it. FF2 is doing everything I want. Based on all the hoopla, I'll just sit tight until SP1 comes out, at least. In the meantime, I notice the amount of time I'm using of Chrome Beta is increasing daily. Chrome 1.0 might end up being my new default.
