I looked at dBase II someone was was working with.  dBase III had a nice
command prompt and report builders.  Excellent manual as well.  That was
back in the days when apps that succedded had outstanding documentation.
Loosleaf binders so we could insert our own pages with notes, etc.  Also, I
do not recall dBase II having color, whereas dBase III allowed me to use
color.

I still have my original dBase III + apps and disks, 5.25" no less.  AND I
have my original IBM 286 (my first PC was an IBM PC with a CGA color card
and 1200 baud Internal Hayes modem, I later bumped to 640k and a 10Mg HDD).
I hold onto the past a little bit more than some I think g>...
