Greetings, and Welcome, Petr, from the Upstate New York VFP Geek... [OT] is, as you correctly surmised, for topics that are Off Topic. Stuff that really has less to do with technology and more with rants (imho) <g>.
[NF] is for topics that are technically oriented, but "Not FoxPro" related. This is where a person may ask for help with a LAN or have an Operating System related matter he/she wants to put forth for consideration. A subject with neither [OT] or [NF] indicates it is a FoxPro related subject. If you prefer to be a member with only [NF] and FoxPro related (no [OT]) you can do so. Although I found [OT] subjects quite amusing and informative, after a while I migrated to the technical only part of the ProFox list. Just a personal preference, and overloading of my InBox <g>... I am hopeful you will find the info we discuss of value. You can retrieve and review archived info at Leafe.com on FoxPro and other areas of discipline (Linux, Dabo, etc.).
