That was unfortunate. There are still loads of college educated folks with fancy degrees that don't realize there are quite a few blue-collar skills that are easily turned into lucrative businesses. Being a plumber is a good trade, and has been for as long as I've known plumbers. The average annual earnings of attorneys are really not all that impressive. You have to be at the top of the game to make the truly big bucks. Many attorneys never crack a 6-figure annual salary, so they somehow think that if they can't manage it as an attorney that a plumber surely can't. They're mistaken, of course.
