Whoops, I hit "send" before having a chance to read my post:

#------------------------

It doesn't make sense that Timothy M. Kaine, governor of Virginia, would
have been motivated by the Presidential election to pardon 1,500 felons;
because, the risk of using this method to rig a presidential election
would be extremely high for essential little or no gain, as well as
extremely inefficient. You guys need to stop assigning sinister motives
to every action that can somehow be associated with the Presidential
election.

1) A felcon can be either Republican or Democrat, so there is no way to
know how many Republican votes would have resulted form pardoning 1,500
felons.

2) A felon is less likely to vote than a non-felon.

3) President Elect Obama didn't need these votes, especially these
kinds of votes, so why take a huge risk that's going to be scrutinized
carefully by the press regardless of motive.?

Vote in Virginia:
Obama     1,792,502   52%
McCain    1,637,338   47%
