I've met the man, you have too high an opinion of him. He's as partisan as
anyone. When ACORN types were registering college kids, he met with the Obama
campaign and the Secretary of the Board of Elections twice, and after the final
meeting, the registrars were told that it was not their responsibility to
insure that the students were qualified as residents and that they should take
the students word for it.

After that the chairman of our 3rd congressional district ran a comparison of
voter registrations with just several counties in PA and found over 300
duplicates... some had already cast ballots in both locations. The plan was to
pursue these kids, as the crime is a felony. How is that for screwing up your
life? Why would an honest administration seek to obscure and protect such
behavior?

Whether the votes were needed this time or not, the Ds were doing everything
they could to fudge the system. Why is it the left is always so blind to such
shinnanigans and is unwilling to accept the depth of corruption that is evident
to anyone with at least half a brain.

I will also admit that not all Rs are willing to after one of their own, but
Sarahcuda did. I helped take out a county supervisor who was in bed with the
developers, and like to think that I helped another decide not to run again.

Most Rs will agree that it doesn't matter what party a pol is from, if they are
corrupt, they should go. Hear that, Ted Stevens? Don't go all self righteous
on me about the Ds. Barney Frank had a 'gay escort' service running out his
place in DC and NOTHING HAPPENED! So I hope you will pardon those of us who
look at most Ds and see someone who, if they are not corrupt themselves, is at
least accepting of it in others if it helps them toward their goals.

Subject: Re: [OT] President Obama

If doesn't make sense that Timothy M. Kaine, governor of Virginia, would
have been motivated by the Presidential election to pardon 1,500 felons;
because, the risk of using this method to rig an presidential election
would be extremely high for essential no rewards, as well as extreme
inefficient. You guys need to stop assigning sinister election
manipulating motives to every action that can somehow be associated with
the Presidential election.

1) A felcon can be either a Republican or a Democrat, so there is no
way to know how many votes Republican votes would have resulted for
pardoning 1,500 felons.

2) A felon is less likely to vote than a non-felon.

3) 1,500 votes is pretty insignificant in a presidential election.

4) President Elect Obama didn't need these votes, espcially these kinds
of votes, so why take a huge risk that going to be scrutinized carefully
by the press regardless of motive.?

Vote in Virginia:
Obama 1,792,502 52%
McCain 1,637,338 47%
