Why do you care? You're not paying for it and won't be riding it. I, on the other hand, will not only pay for it but will ride it as well. I love visiting San Francisco, and the scenery along that ride up the coast is breathtaking in its beauty. The drive is wonderful, but it is difficult to enjoy because it is also treacherous. Everyone in California that has made that drive knows about the danger of it, and I'm sure that has a lot to do with our decision to fund the train.
