McCain was doomed from the moment the election campaign began. The Republicans were on the nose with a record low approval president and a financial crisis of truly massive size.
I support the Australian Liberal Party - the nearest equivalent to your Republicans. 12 months ago we lost the election to the Labor Party (similar to your democrats). But I don't blame them for the drought or the financial crisis. I don't make up ridiculous thug stories or question his parentage.
