That's exactly it--most are paranoid that you're not working like you would be in the office. I had worked at this place in PA for 3 years and absolutely KICKED ASS in developing a killer app and really doing wonders for that place. There was never any doubts as to whether or not I could deliver and go above/beyond to make the app the best it could be--well above the minimum requirements. I had a knack for making great UIs and everyone loved it. It was so good in fact that they were considering marketing the app externally. Yet when I asked my boss if I could tele-commute, one of the first things out of his mouth was "well, how do we know if you'd be working?" I was floored. I think it was at that point that I made my mind up to leave and find a different employer. _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
