I may *not* be affected by layoffs next month....will only know after middle of next month most likely, but I'm not waiting until then to see what's out there. Applied for quite a few jobs tonight (maybe 12?) including one in Atlanta, GA iirc. Now see, that would better my chances for joining and contributing human resources to AFUG if I got that job! ;-) Gotta tell you--if I had no debts (credit cards, car loan, etc.), I'd go back to Brazil with Evana for 3-6 months and take that time to really take FabMate to the next level. Would love to re-engineer much of it to use a MySQL backend so that I could do the monthly fee thing with the databases hosted online. All that while enjoying the summer down there by the pool. (Her mom has a WONDERFUL house down there near the beach iirc!)
