It's great to see people caring like that. Over here we wouldn't need that charade.

We have a chain grocery store down the street. One of the cashiers is dying of cancer too young for Medicare. The company will pay her health insurance if she works 20 hours a week but, of course, most of the time she can't work at all. The manager is carrying her on the books for 20 hours a week out of his store labor budget. He could be fired for that if corporate found out. Of course, the manager and the rest of the employees are doing the work she is being paid for. It is the oddest thing seeing the store manager working a register. -- Regards, Pete http://pete-theisen.com/ [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
