Michael, Canadians, just like everyone else in the world, want the best health care available. In some cases, for specialized medicine or operations, Canadians go to the U.S. because that is the best option available. And our taxes and fees do pay for those U.S. health services.
And Americans come to Canada for the same reasons. The Shouldice Clinic in Toronto is the world leader in hernia operations.
