A man in our city, Brian Deegan, lost a son to the Bali Bombers - al quaeda related terrorists in 2002. They were recently executed and he publicly stated his opposition to the death penalty. We are not immune; we not victimless. But in the midst of it all we hope and try to retain our morality; our sense of humanity. Brian suffered greatly and his son paid the ultimate price, but he remains a man whose head is held up high. He knows what integrity and honour is and has paid for it in blood.
