Hi Geoff! This case is in Florida, and I am in Florida. My assumptions are correct unless the cop deviated from procedure, which was hashed out well in advance in response to similar cases of school disruption. The cop was not called, he is permanently assigned to the school - that is what a "resource officer" is. That school could have 10,000 students. Handcuffs are also standard when anyone is arrested. Do u remember the case of a group of 10yos caught having sex at > school? They idiotic cops arrested them IN HANDCUFFS. Is this really an > appropriate standard of justice? The protocol is to cuff the hands behind the back whenever anyone is arrested. Cops who deviate from it are often killed by the prisoner. -- Regards, Pete http://pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
