Mmmm... I think you may have taken this the wrong way, or I didn't
sufficiently convey my meaning. It was intended tongue in cheek. It was
late at night, had been working all day, and was trying this live CD and
getting ugly results. So I was reacting like a frustrated kid.....
that's the tongue in the cheek. But sometimes it does not work (the
tongue), you are writing in a language that is not your own and to
people not of your culture, so you don't have such a fine control over
what you want to provoke. Next time I'll try to be more explicit.

Of course I did that, or some other foolish thing. I was just playing
around with a live cd!

Yes, I'm aware. Used to have Debian installed at home a few years ago.
But then I started using w$ again and kind of let it be. Now I've
forgotten most of the Debian stuff and would have to re-read my books.
Don't feel in the mood (I'm building a boat, so now I'd rather keep
computer work confined to my workplace).

Sorry, it was not meant that harshly. Of course the final 'idiot' is me :-)

Yup, maybe the post should have gone OT and not NF. As I was just making
a comment on my life more than a technical one.

And here I get burned and crash. LOL
And you are able to do it in such a classy way! Good!

Nah! I'll wait a couple of weekends and get onto it when the temp drops
down a little (we are getting 35ºC in spring!!!) and give it another,
more serious, try.
