Michael,

Thanks for your initial response and the second post asking if I got it
working. The answer is - Partially.

I read the URL you provided and turned off the miscellaneous things that
I don't know that I need. Since doing so I can access the other router
at 10.0.0.254 so I can surf, but I still can't access the print server at
10.0.0.200. I was going to use the wireless connection today to see if
the router stays accessible but needed to print something so went back to
a copper link. Now I'm back on wireless and still able to surf.

I don't understand why the wireless connection should behave any
differently than the wired connections. I wondered if the D-Link was
having problems with the high numbers of the range but I set its static
IP address to 10.0.0.253 and it works okay there.

The obvious place to blame is the print server itself. It is actually a
wired SMC Barricade Router used as a switch and print server. It works
fine with all my equipment including an Ubuntu box. The laptop works
with it via copper or wirelessly via a Deliberant box. It works with the
D-Link via copper but fails wirelessly.

I don't have a clue how to troubleshoot this. Perhaps I should connect
the DLink as a router and see if the wireless side can access the print
server that way.

Joe
