Hi Jean Just to reinforce what Dave Crozier has said, we have quite a few customers with 30+ users and tables 1Gb+. Our experience over the last several years has been that the key to stability is the network infratructure. If the hardware/network is good, monthly reindexing is sufficient and data/index corruption NEVER happens. OTOH a faulty network card, old/tired server, environmental interference (eg electrical transients), etc can lead to the sort of intermittent problems you have experienced.
Of course, in that situation the only way to resolve it is change the suspect stuff bit by bit and each time leave it a few days/weeks to see if that has cured the problem - which is not ideal ...
