I watch and read about the current state of the big 3 and wonder what
they are expected to do with the money they receive? Are they going
to shore up cash for capital expenditures for switching over to fuel
efficient devices? Are they going to infuse their own in house banks,
GMAC and whomever is Ford's? If those billions roll to FUND purchases
that would be a step forward in getting IRON moving. Because right
now IRON is just standing still.

Could those [ banks ] generate a new contract that identifies the
possibility of your losing a job in the short term and provide
leniency if it is documented back to the lender?

Would the whole repossession system stop the old way of shuttling the
assets to the auction where we can get a better price, and keep them
local to be resold?

Last, will the Big 3 start their own floorplan system for resellers
for the short term instead of making them get the funding on the
dealership level?
They made those beasts, at least help the local dealers hold on to them longer.

Any comments?
