I'll take your points in order so that you have a chance to follow along. These aren't private but public companies.
The state (by which I'm going to have to guess that you mean the Federal government) is already involved in all these companies, all one has to do is look at the raft of laws governing their operations. Nope, sorry but I don't believe that the government belongs in the private affairs of it's citizens but there are limits to that and, fortunately, there are laws to govern those limits as well. Nope, don't believe that they should be bailing out the people that invested in the wrong banks. An individual makes a choice where to invest their money, if they choose poorly then they have to pay for that mistake. Nope, don't believe that people that bought homes that they couldn't afford should now be getting relief for their stupidity, but then I don't think that the banks that extending these loans should be getting bailed out either. Just because the government has chosen to do something does not mean that I agree with it. Of course, my disagreement doesn't mean that there will be a change in the current course of action. Nope, I'm not a communist, fucking or otherwise. By all means, if you can dig up McCarthy, send him by, that will definitely be an interesting conversation. Ricardo, maybe you should stick to working on your boat. ::michael Ricardo Aráoz wrote: > Are you suggesting the state should get involved in private companies? > In the market?
