Don't skimp in the RAM (regular or video) with Vista. RAM is relatively cheap and useful for any of the repurposed uses you have. I find dedicated video RAM is best. Same goes for the customer. No one I know who works in the business world is recommending Vista machines with less than 4GBs of RAM other than the hardware manufacturers <g>. My Vista box with 4GBs runs beautifully with many apps running. Make sure the customers get Business, not Home so they can attach to Domain if this is important.
