According to Andy Kramek's blog, Ceil Silver lost her fight with cancer this weekend. http://weblogs.foxite.com/andykramek/archive/2009/01/05/7508.aspx Hers was the only MVP Award I got to give in person while I was the Fox MVP Buddy at Microsoft. I had been watching her contributions for a while on other MVPs' recommendations, so when they reminded me at Whilfest 2000, I asked her if she was interested in the award. When she said yes, I responded, "Poof! You're an MVP." :-)
