Although this topic could just as easily relate to those programming in
FoxPro - I figured I might as well post it as [NF].

Anyway, I was curious to know if anyone here has done development using
the Extreme Programming paradigm. And, if so, can you give me any
feedback to its successful or Un-successful usage? I know there are also
newer paradigms like Agile programming. (I 1st heard of Extreme prog
from another programmer buddy of mine back in about 2001).

Several of us here at the co. where I work are doing custom upgrades for
current customers (in VFP 7 & 8). While the rest of the programmers are
all doing development work on a new version of the system - developing
in C# & dot Net. It is this particular system where my boss is
experiencing SERIOUS frustrations with the progress on this system.
Those testing the new system keep running into the same bugs, and
programming progress in general is very, VERY Slow! I was hoping to
present to my boss some concept to help speed up development - and was
hoping that something like Extreme Programming might be the way. But,
before I do that (and since I also don't know THAT much about it except
what little I read about it many years ago) - I would like to get some
feedback from people here!

For those people here that never heard about Extreme programming - the
one concept I understand is that 2 programmers work together - with ONE
computer between them - and they work quickly together to bang out code
(or - something like that - from what I remember)...

Thanks in advance!

Kurt
