As you've learned from other posts, Ceil died on Saturday. She was a
great friend whom I was lucky enough to have spent a lot of time with
at various conferences, and when I lived in NJ and she ran the
Westchester, NY Fox user group. We co-edited the Tips and Tricks
column for FoxPro Advisor magazine for several years starting in 2000.
I remember her initial brush with melanoma several years ago, and was
impressed with her openness and determination to fight it. I spoke
with her last month, and she sounded fine, and very positive about her
current battle, which is why the news of her death was such a shock to
me. Knowing Ceil, I really expected her to beat this thing.
