Bull. This guy is the messiah, he's The One, he's Mr. Yes We Can (Except I Guess We Can't and the End is Nigh if we don't Pass This Bill Without Deliberation). As soon as he signs this boondoggle, he owns the economy lock, stock and barrel. Between this, the bailouts, and Geithner's vague plan to blow another $2 trillion on bank bail-outs, they dwarf by an order of magnitude even Bush's grotesque fiscal irresponsibility. (And about that---I have always consistently criticized Bush's spending policies. So that's a canard.) His attempt to blame Bush for everything will get really old really soon. He and McCain were both included in the process more than any other two senators, and both of them supported the bailouts. Either one of them could have done the right thing, and washed their hands of it. Please, I gave you a concrete list of things about which you can dazzle me with your brilliance and logic, do take the time to answer them instead of snipe about my alleged inconsistency lazily like a Jean or a Helio or an Ed, none of whom do anything but criticize other people for their views. Engage the real debate or shut up. Who ran the banks? Why? Why did the cost of oil skyrocket before the election, and plummet after it? Who benefitted? Who did it? Go ahead, dazzle me. - Bob _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
