I have clients that get similar problems when the Anti-Virus/Spy Ware
software combinations installed on the box put a temporary lock on files. I
was having a problem with one client and a temporary PDF file I create to
email. The user had Google Desktop indexing PDF, a Spy Ware program, McAfee
and Windows Defender running on the box. I was able to keep Google and the
Anti-Virus packages from grabbing the file too long for me to get into the
email.

As for those the index issue on that box, they are wrapped in a Try/Catch,
and causes the display sorting to not work.

I'm seeing the following occur somewhat frequently (but not frequently
enough to track down) in a VFP9 SP1 app.

In the load of the form:
Error: File access is denied c:\windows\temp\0000axi10014.cdx.
Line #96 : INDEX ON UPPER(ur_fulluse) TAG ur_fulluse

The index is on a local view. Most of the time, it runs without any
problems.

There are a few people running this app via Terminal Server, so I'm
wondering if it's somehow related to that at all?

Anyone have any ideas why this error is occurring sometimes, and what is
recommended to do about it?

Thanks-
Steve
